New York City 2026 - Coats for the City
Alongside South Carolina Baptists and the Metropolitan New York Baptist Association, we will partner with N.C. Baptists to be the hands and feet of Jesus by collecting coats throughout the year and distributing them to those in need in New York City. The coat distribution will take place at a partner church in NYC on that Saturday of the trip. This trip is open to anyone. A great short trip for families to do together!

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Background Check (if over 18)
- Must complete interview with trip leader or SEND Team Staff member
Restrictions
- Must be an active member (or child of member) of Apex Baptist Church or be an active participant of another local body of believers.
- Must feel comfortable sharing the gospel and your testimony.
- Must be 14 at time of trip (with accompanying adult if under 18)
Preparation
- Read the appointed Missions book/resources for short-term trips
- Attend ALL team meetings/trainings
- Complete assignments given to you by your Trip Leader
